The triathlon races like ours, organized under the aegis of the Federazione Italiana Triathlon, are of course governed by the regulations and rules issued by the Federation itself. 

Technical regulation in 2008 is a paragraph that defines the behavior to the occurrence of an event like the one that occurred last September 13 in Peschiera del Garda. 

To clarify, the article of carry-over technical regulation in question in 2008:

4th in case of cancellation for bad weather, both before the start that at any moment of the race, the athlete will be entitled to a refund of the fee, but the organizer will hold, to cover their expenses, however incurred, l ' maximum of EUR 25; 

In light of the above, and after a confrontation with the President of the Federation, the company Peschiera Triathlon has established the following procedures for reimbursement: 

€ 5 to those who have submitted and withdrew the package 

€ 15 to those who have submitted, withdrew the package and have paid the extra € 10 for the delayed entry 

€ 10 to those who have paid the security for the chips and did not presented on the day of the race. 

The calculation of refunds takes a while, due to the articulation of the same. 

Upon completion of verification and counting, the sum paid will be refunded to the company belonging to the athletes. Will be repaid by the company received a refund for their athletes. 

No shares will be taken into consideration for any race in 2009. 

I thank all those (many) who, with their phone calls and e-mail, have expressed solidarity and shared our choice, either for the cancellation, and for the terms of reimbursement.

In February 2005, after 7 years of collaboration with the company DLF Triathlon Verona, a group of friends of Peschiera decided to create a new company, with the aim to bring to the lakeshore an innovative and spectacular. Peschiera Triathlon was founded in order to manage the resources of the territory to organize as best we can a race that, over the years, is proving increasingly popular.  Subsequently, some athletes - now 13 - joined enthusiastically in the initiative, deciding to compete with the colors of the company.  The next step, Peschiera Triathlon, will be to promote multi-school, to create a reality also at youth level.
